Abstract Guidelines & Submission Form

Poster and presentation abstract submission is now closed.

DEADLINE DATE

Abstracts for consideration for presentations and/or poster will be accepted through November 7, 2011

Posters and oral presentations will be given on the morning of December 14. Participants are invited to attend the entire conference as it provides a special and unique opportunity to learn more about the energy and water connection. Students especially will benefit from interaction with national and international researchers on this timely topic.

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES

Although abstracts related to any and all water research and management topics will be considered, this year’s conference will emphasize desalination and renewable energy. Projects and models that address inland, small-scale, low-cost rural brackish desalination water projects using renewable energy such as solar, wind, geothermal, and waste heat sources are encouraged. Research on concentrate management, renewable energy/desalination hybrids, desalination technologies for produced water, and the study of salt-tolerant crops are also encouraged.

Abstracts must not exceed 250 words and must be submitted online via the form below. All accepted abstracts will be posted on the conference website and will be published in the conference proceedings.

The schedule for oral presentations will be emailed to all presenters in mid-November and will be posted on the conference website.
