Presentation Guidelines

Time Frame

Each presenter will be allotted 20 minutes for their presentation. Presenter introductions will be very brief as each presenter's biographical sketch will be contained with his/her abstract online (presenters with accepted abstracts will be asked to provide the WRRI with a brief biographical sketch). However, you can figure that about two minutes will be taken when your introduction is made, and you may want to allow a few minutes from the 20-minute timeslot for questions.

Computer Presentations

We encourage presenters with computer presentations (e.g., Powerpoint) to provide the WRRI with a copy of their presentation no later than December 2, 2011. These presentations will be pre-loaded on the WRRI computers so that we are confident that there will be no last minute glitches and we will save time by not switching equipment.

Handouts

If you want to provide participants with handouts (in addition to your abstract that will be posted online), you must either provide the WRRI with the handout by November 18 (emailed to Cathy Ortega Klett coklett@wrri.nmsu.edu) so that copies can be made available at the conference or you can bring copies with you to the conference.
